Sunday, January 6th: Departing JFK - El Al Flight LY #002.
Please be at the airport by 4:30 (Flight is leaving 7:30 pm).
Monday, January 7th: Arrival in Israel about 1:00 pm local time.
Traveling to Hotel Lavie. Stop at Bet Shearim along the way.
Tuesday, January 8th: Hatzor Haglilit- cleaning shelters; Hula Nature Reserve;
Kibbutz Ayelet Hashachar – Ethiopian absorption center; Tzfat.
Wednesday, January 9th: Army base, Tiberias – Meet “transplanted” families from Gush Katif (also some kind of assistance to these people). Drive through Jordan Valley; visit a small Moshav - help the young families;
meet a pioneer woman (widow) with 5 children with a special story.
A real lesson in emunah! Evening in Jerusalem; daven at the Kotel.
Check in and dinner at Hotel Hamelachim (Prima Kings Hotel).
Thursday, January 10th: Yad Eliezer, Yad Vashem, Yad Sarah.
Evening: Israel Museum and/or free night to visit relatives.
Friday, January 11th: Old City, flowers for Shabbat.
Kabbalat Shabbat.
Shabbat, January 12th: Shabbat (Program to be announced).
Sunday, January 13th: Leket (picking fruit for the needy), Ayalon Institute (underground ammunition factory from 1945). Tel Aviv: Jaffa Institute for the needy (packing food). Evening: prepare for Sderot.
Monday, January 14th: Gush Katif communities (distribution of books);
Netivot – Baba Sali's tomb, Sderot.
Tuesday, January 15th: Herzl Museum, Melabev (assisting the elderly).
Free time to depart from Jerusalem, dinner, say goodbye at the Kotel.
