Kern Library Yeshiva University High School for Girls
A 21st Century Virtual Electronic Library

Our building houses a complete Media Center that enables our students to do research on an advanced level in both secular and Jewish studies. In addition, every ninth grader takes a course in Research Skills to enable them to prepare projects, term papers and other work.

An extensive CD-ROM collection, audio-visual materials, and internet-accessible computers, including laptops, are all available in our library, our classrooms, and computer lab.

Library sessions are conducted by our librarian, in conjunction with our faculty, to teach our students the skills necessary to take full advantage of our excellent facility.

Students have full access to the library system of Yeshiva University. In addition, our library subscribes to EBSCO databases and Thomas Gale databases, which are accessible to all our students at home or at school.
