Requirements and Examinations
 

A. Requirements for Graduation

In order to earn a dipoma from Yeshiva University High School for Girls, students must compllete the following four-year course of study:

 

Judaic Studies

General Studies

Four years of Biblical Analysis Four years of English
Four years of Literature of Prophets Four years of Social Studies
Four years of Judaic Law/Talmud Three years of Mathematics
Two years of Jewish History Three years of Laboratory Science
Three years of Hebrew Language Three full-credit electives
Three Judaic Electives Three years of World Language
Four years of Physical Education
One year of Art or Music

Senior Project

Successful completion of a senior research project worked on independently supervised by a teacher/mentor.

B. Examinations

As the school is accredited by both the Middle States Association and the Regents of the State University of New York, students are required to take a number of Regents examinations during their four years.  We are complying with all changes in the Regents Standards.  Our curricula are designed to meet and surpass the basic Regents requirements.

** In accordance with Federal regulations students who attend college in what would normally be their senior year are not eligible to receive a high school diploma following that year in college.  Therefore, Early Admissions students do not receive a YUHSG diploma.
